What is the TABE Test? TABE stands for “Test of Adult Basic Education. It is an assessment that measures academic skills up to the 12.9 grade level. TABE is available in paper-and-pencil and computer-based formats.
How can I schedule the TABE test? TABE testing typically takes place on Tuesday and Wednesdays, at 10:00 a.m. Please call the School for Adults Counseling Office (562) 595-8893, ext 234, for TABE test dates, and to schedule your testing appointment.
What should I bring? In order to sit for the exam, bring a state or government valid/current photo ID.
We are happy to offer accommodations for students with special needs. A testing accommodation is a change made to the test administration procedure to provide equal access for students with disabilities to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Please speak to a School for Adults Counselor to request TABE testing accommodations you feel may be appropriate to your specific needs. |
