Afternoon supervision will be
funded by the Summer Enrichment Program using LBUSD Recreation staff and only those children attending SEP will be
allowed to attend. Recreation staff will provide
crafts, games and playground supervision on the Gant campus from
8:00-9:00 a.m. and 12:00 - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday from Monday,
June 24 through Thursday, August 1. The Recreation
Supervision will also be open to Summer Enrichment children on the
following Fridays from 8:00-4:00: June 28, July 12, July 19
and July 26. We will be closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 in observance of
Independence Day.
The
supervised recreation on the Gant campus is only open to children
who are also participating in the Summer Enrichment Program.
Your child must have completed kindergarten to sign up. The Recreation Supervision is a free, drop-in type program, not a
custodial care program. If you plan to have your child attend the
Recreation Supervision in the afternoon after SEP, stop by to meet staff in the Gant cafeteria on the first day, June 24, between 8:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M.
Staff will
confirm your eligibility by checking the Summer Enrichment Program
class lists. This will establish your child as a
participant for the six-week recreation program at Gant. Space
is limited and available only to children also attending the Summer
Enrichment Program. |
