The Long Beach School for Adults is a great place to get started if you are seeking to develop new job skills, or are looking to further develop/strengthen the current workplace skills that you already have. Job training courses are available to both current high school students and adults.

Some of the courses are short-term (one Saturday, or two to three days in length), and some of the courses are longer term (one to two semesters long). See specific course descriptions and course pages for details.

To enroll in some Job Skills courses you will need to take the TABE test (offered through the LBSA Counseling Office) and achieve a score of 8.0 or better
