Teacher-Directed Classes

Teacher-directed classroom instruction is ideal for students needing a more supported, interactive learning environment. Classes meet once or twice a week, typically for three to four hours per class session. All students study the same material in class. Audiovisual materials, projects, and homework may be included.

Courses typically begin in September, February, and June of each school year. Structured courses satisfy high school graduation requirements and meet California State standards. Courses typically offered include Algebra, English Writing and Literature, United States History, Economics, Human Relations, and selected other topics.
